Via Corda
St. Martin-en-Vercors
Topo’s used with the kind permission of the St. Martin-en-Vercors Marie’s office.
The Via Corda at St. Martin is similar to Via Ferrata except it has no steel cables for protection. Otherwise, the skills and equipment required are the same as for Via Ferrata plus you will need a minimum of 40m of rope and the ability to lifeline correctly (as falling off is going to hurt….)
It is possible to hire guides (and equipment) for the Via Corda, please enquire at the Office de Tourisme at either St. Martin or La Chapelle.
